Jackson County Commissioners Vote In A Medical Marijuana Moratorium

By Jim McCoy Wed 2nd April News
Two of the three Jackson County Commissioners met this morning, and by a 2-0 vote have declared a moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries under county jurisdiction. One official said this decision will affect one pending license application. The moratorium is line with an Oregon state decision to declare a moratorium through May of 2015. Last night, Ashland's city council voted in a temporary moratorium, but that will not affect the currently open dispensary in town.
