Josephine County Voters To Hear From Sheriff's Candidates

Voters in Josephine County will have an opportunity tomorrow (Wednesday) night to hear from the candidates for county sheriff as well as other offices. Incumbent Gil Gilbertson and challengers Dave Daniels and Ed Vincent will be on hand for a forum at the Anne Basker Auditorium. Candidates for other offices will begin their portion of the program at 6 p.m. The county sheriff’s candidates start their portion of the program at 7 p.m. Two more forums take within the next week. There will be a forum for the sheriff’s race only, hosted by North Valley Community Watch at North Valley High School on Sunday, April 27th. The forum starts at 6 p.m. On Monday, April 28th, the Josephine County Sheriff’s Association forum will take place at the Marie Hill Conference Center. As of this report, it is not firmed up, but will most likely start at 6 p.m.
