A would-be carjacker got more than he bargained for when he tried to overtake an 80-year old man driving a van. The victim was sitting alone at a stop light, when 26-year old Christopher Cody Willard opened the door of the vehicle and ordered the man out at knifepoint. The victim refused, and a struggle ensued.
The van rolled forward and struck a rock. The van door partially closed, giving a badly broken leg. The victim escaped, and the suspect took off in the van. A state trooper cornered Willard in White City, and he pulled over, but refused to get out of the van. The suspect has eventually subdued with a taser.
