The smoke from the July Complex of fires in Siskiyou County that has been hovering over southern Oregon in recent should clear out soon. The National Weather Service is forecasting a shift in the winds that will clear out the Rogue Valley.
Southeastern Oregon and northeastern California won't be as fortunate. Thick smoke will be the order of the day in those regions.
The July Complex fires have consumed some 43-thousand acres of land, residents of that area have experienced thick, choking smoke.
