Ashland City Council may decide on ski permit tonight
The Ashland City Council meets tonight, and one of the items on the agenda could be a decision to give up the permit for the Mount Ashland ski area, as part of an agreement with the Mount Ashland Association.
The council voted in August to give up the permit, if the Mount Ashland Association met a series of tough conditions, including raising the $2-3 million funding for the first phase of the expansion before proceeding.
It is not yet clear if the Association will agree to these conditions. Public hearings on the issue are over, so no testimony will be taken tonight.
