Ashland gay parade draws hundreds

The second annual Southern Oregon Pride parade drew hundreds of spectators Saturday as it wound its way through the city’s downtown area.

The parade began with 32 entries, after which onlookers flooded the streets behind them in a show of solidarity. The parade was the centerpiece of a multi-day Southern Oregon Pride festival that began Friday.
