Lily Glen Equestrian Park closed to public

Jackson County Parks officials say Lily Glen Equestrian Park has been closed to the public, to allow firefighters working on the Little Butte fire to stay there. The fire has been burning in pine and oak in steep terrain on the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The equestrian park at Howard Prairie Reservoir offers easy access for fire crews. All other Howard Prairie campgrounds and day-use areas remain open.
