Medford electric car show

An outdoor electric car show takes place today featuring the Nissan Leaf and the Chevrolet Volt at the Rogue Federal Credit Union.  This show comes after news earlier this year of expansion of use of an electric car for the maintenance department to be used daily on the Southern Oregon University campus in Ashland.  Just yesterday development of an "Electric Avenue" in Portland was announced where seven charging stations from six different manufacturer's have been installed at Portland Statue University.  It's part of a two-year study to find out which charging stations are most popular and to find out what those charging their cars do during the time the charge is taking place.
