Oregon wildfire update

By Steve Best Tue 13th September News

Favorable firefighting weather has helped crews make significant progress toward getting Oregon wildfires under control.

Crews battling the Dollar Lake Fire on Mount Hood say smoke has held over the blaze, keeping it calm. The 6,200 acre fire was last reported as being 40% contained.

Officials reported similar progress on the 10,000-acre Shadow Lake Fire near Sisters.
