Still no final decision on Ashland ski permit

Despite meeting last night, the Ashland City Council is yet to make a final decision on whether to give up the Mount Ashland ski permit to the Mount Ashland Association.

The city council voted in August to give up the permit, under certain stringent conditions, and although partial agreement has been reached between the two groups, some unresolved terms still need negotiating.

Both sides have agreed that a city inspector may be on site to monitor a planned expansion if it does move forward .
