With all the volatility on Wall Street at present, there’s one piece of good news for consumers – the prospect of falling gas prices. Steve Best has the details….

With all the volatility on wall street, there’s one thing consumers can look forward to - falling gas prices. As stock prices are going down, energy analysts are expecting crude oil prices to fall as well - by perhaps as much as 50 cents a gallon over the next several weeks. Economist James Williams with WTRG says “Weak economies engender low oil prices.” This is good news for Oregonians. Gas prices at this time are roughly 60 cents a gallon higher than they were this time last year.
