The City of Ashland’s Community Development team is going above and beyond last year’s census to find out what it’s citizens want. Steve Best has details….

The survey asks how many people live in each home, how many bed and bathrooms there are, and the age range of the occupants.

It also seeks to determine whether there has been foreclosure pressure, along with finding out why people choose to live in Ashland and how long they plan to stay in the city.

The last housing survey was in 2002 and City officials say they hope to have about 800 responses.

The survey is already live online and will be available through January of next year. Planners say it should only take 5 minutes to complete.
