Ashland Police Chief Terry Holderness addressed residents at a meeting this week following the death of 23-year-old David Grubbs on a bike path on November 19th.
He told an audience of 500 that it didn’t appear Grubbs had been targeted, neither was he robbed. ruling out gang activity, the chief added that Grubbs may have been chosen at random.
He was also able to rule out as suspects two boys who had stashed a skateboard and a helmet along the path.
