After last week’s heavy rain and - in some cases – snow throughout the region, forecasters are warning of another batch of potentially severe weather from tomorrow. Steve Best has details…
Heavy, soaking rains accompanied by rising snow levels are due to begin Tuesday morning, with a possible repeat of last week’s widespread flooding.
A flood watch has already been issued this week for nearly all of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington.
although the bulk of the moisture appears to be headed for the North Coast range, the North Oregon Cascades and the Cascade Foothills, it could move towards Southern Oregon on Wednesday.
Rising temperatures will add to flooding fears as last week’s snow melts, and the coast will see a repeat of last week’s high winds.
