The veil of secrecy over the location and identity of the family set to benefit from a visit by the TV show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” has been lifted.  Steve Best has the details

Show producers revealed the beneficiaries of the local makeover to be C.J. and Lindsay McPhail, who are founders of the Southern Oregon chapter of Sparrow Clubs, which connects children who have medical issues with schools that “adopt” them.

The couple has three young children, two of whom have autism. They live on an aging 50 acre property next to Lindsay’s parents who help look after the children

Parts of Coker Butte Road, where they live, will be closed to all through traffic until Friday September 16  while the transformation is carried out.
