TORONTO (AP) - Toronto's Mark Buehrle (BUR'-lee) is looking to become baseball's first five-game winner tonight when the Blue Jays entertain the Red Sox. The lefthander has allowed just two earned runs in 28 innings of work this season and has an earned run average of just 0.64. WASHINGTON (AP) - The Washington Wizards are the surprise team of the NBA playoffs so far with two wins against the Bulls in Chicago. The third game of their playoff series is tonight in Washington with the fourth game slated for the same venue Sunday afternoon. PHILADELPHIA (AP) - In a matchup of NHL rivals, the New York Rangers can take a 3-1 lead over the Flyers tonight in their best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff series. This evening's game is being played in Philadelphia with game six slated for Sunday afternoon in Madison Square Garden. CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Cam Newton isn't going anywhere. The Carolina Panthers have exercised their fifth-year option on the services of the quarterback, which means he'll be with the club through the 2015 season. Newton was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft by the Panthers. RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Richmond is the site of this week's Sprint Cup race. The event will take place tomorrow night with qualifying on tap this afternoon. This is the third short-track event of the season. The points leader entering this weekend is Jeff Gordon by just one point over Matt Kenseth.
