Suspect Named In Disappearance of Southern Oregon Woman

Authorities have identified a suspect in the disappearance of Stephanie Warner, a southern Oregon woman last seen two years ago at a Fourth of July parade in Ashland.

Detective Eric Henderson of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that investigators believe Warner is dead and the woman's boyfriend at the time, Lennie Ames, knows the location of the remains.

A Jackson County woman has been missing since the Fourth of July. The sheriff's office believes that after celebrating the holiday in Ashland, 43-year-old Stephanie Anne Warner returned home to the community of Ruch, about five miles southwest of Medford. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is asking for public assistance in trying to find a Jacksonville woman that hasn’t been seen since July 4th. Stephanie Anne Warner is 43-years old, 5'2", 135 pounds with red hair and brown eyes.
