Pacific Power Increasing Reward For Metal Thieves

Pacific Power is increasing a reward they offering to catch metal thieves to $5,000. In recent days, the utility says seven power poles outside Grants Pass were cut down and the metal from the poles taken. A report of a man in Grants Pass tampering with locks on dryers in a laundromat led to his arrest on a variety of theft charges. Police say 32-year old Brian Patrick Shipman had an outstanding warrant related to prior thefts of ATM machines at local mini-markets and coins from a ca wash. Help Sought In Solving Theft of Over $10,000 of Items in Rogue River
