Barnstormers Theatre’s ‘Pygmalion’
October 23, 2020 @ 12:00 am - November 8, 2020 @ 12:00 am
$15 – $60“Pygmalion” is the classic play that inspired the musical “My Fair Lady.” It tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl who seizes a chance to improve her chances in life by learning how to speak proper English under the tutelage of a phonetician, Professor Henry Higgins. Higgins accepts a bet from Colonel Pickering to pass Eliza off as a fine lady, and Eliza’s transformation begins. The relationship that forms between teacher and student is at the heart of this witty and poignant play.
