Seed to Supper Teaches Beginner Gardening Techniques

November 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

To support families growing their own food, ACCESS is helping to bring
the Seed to Supper program (a free six week class) to Jackson County.
Seed to Supper is part of Oregon Food Bank’s work to build more food secure communities- places
where all people at all times have access to enough food for a healthy life. Increasing community
food security through programs in gardening, nutrition education, advocacy, and community
organizing goes hand-in-hand to help people living with low incomes meet their short-term food
needs.
Taught at community sites throughout Oregon by trained, volunteer garden educators, the program
highlights low-cost, step-by-step techniques for cultivating a successful vegetable garden. Seed to
Supper is a free beginner’s gardening class offered in collaboration with ACCESS, Oregon Food Bank,
JCMGA, and the Medford Library.
Dates: Monday nights from 6-8p from November 4th through December 9th
Location: Large Meeting Room, Medford Library, 205 South Central Ave, Medford, OR 97501
