Sixth Annual The Art of Survival Century–Tulelake, CA

The Sixth Annual The Art of Survival Century is a two-day event that takes bicyclists on a variety of courses from family-friendly 8-mile rides up to adventurous 100-mile routes through the rural roads of Siskiyou and Modoc counties in California, and Klamath County in Oregon. Rest stops along the routes include educational components highlighting the history, geography and geology of the area with stops at the Lava Beds National Monument, Tule Lake National Wild Refugee, and several historic sites, vineyards, agricultural farms and ranches. The second day features a ride through the beautiful Butte Valley to Lake Juanita by the California Wildlife Refuge at historic Meiss Ranch. To register, visit survivalcentury.com. Registration fees are based on course length with special pre-registration and two-day participation pricing available ranging from $45 to $135. Proceeds benefit non-profits in California and Oregon.
