Water Main Break Will Keep Crater High School Closed
Students at Crater High school are getting a couple of extra days . School was closed as a result of a water break sometime over the weekend. Central Point School District Randy Gravon blames the problem on a 59-year old building. Approximately 2-3 inches of water pooled up when maintenance personnel arrived at 5 a.m.
Because of the extensive problems, school will remain Tuesday as well. It’s hoped school will resume on Wednesday. It’s too early to determine the cost because of the damage, but Gravon says it will be ‘significant’.
